R n R
When Rick Braun and Richard Elliot decided to start ARTizen Music Group, it was certain that collaboration was written in the stars. However, for these two smooth jazz heavy weights, the moment had to be perfect. After almost three years and over half a dozen releases on their label, that time finally came. The duo began writing and recording their own record together and the result was greater than anything they could have imagined. Tunes like “R n R” and the raucous horn charts of “Curve Ball” flowed from their collective musical wit and wisdom, making for an album that won’t stop entertaining and amazing audiences worldwide. There is an implicit pun evoked in naming this release. The consistent roadblocks to recording together varied from solo records to simply maintaining a normal home life. So when these two finally found some time for R(est) and R(elaxtion), they decided to make a record. True to its namesake, R n R is all about having fun.
