ABOUT THE ARTIST
Toni Braxton is a 7 time Grammy winning R&B singer, songwriter, pianist, musician, actress, television celebrity, record producer and humanitarian. She currently has released a total of 7 studio albums, selling more than 66 million records worldwide.
Her 1993 self-titled album topped the musical charts and continued to gain enormous success with her second album ‘Secrets’ (1996) as well. ‘Secrets’ which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified 8-times platinum, included the single ‘Un-Break My Heart’ and the hit ‘You Make Me High’. The album scored her two Grammy awards, one for best female R&B vocal performance and best female R&B pop vocal performance. Additional Gold and Platinum albums followed.
After a legal battle with her recording company, Toni returned back to the music scene in the early 2000s with a new album, a reality TV show, plus a show in Las Vegas. She took a break from recording a few years later, continuing to perform live. In 2014 she came back to the recording studio with long-time collaborator Babyface and released a duet album entitled “Love, Marriage & Divorce.”
In addition to her 7 Grammys, Toni has won 9 Billboard Music Awards, 7 American Music Awards, and several other awards.
