Say Cheers to Spring!

New Jersey Wine Festivals is pleased to invite you to the 2014 Spring Wine Festival on Friday, May 9th from 7-10pm at the Hilton Short Hills Hotel, New Jersey’s Premier Urban Resort.

Celebrate Spring and enjoy a extraordinary lineup of 150+ wines picked by the Wine Library! Enjoy full-flavored reds, fresh whites, abundant specialty wines — awesome wines for Spring and Summer!

Mix, mingle and meet up with other wine lovers while enjoying live contemporary jazz. Our 7th Annual Spring Wine Festival will be another amazing night of wine and good cheer to remember.

WINE & FOOD:
The Wine Library has specially selected over 150+ wines for every palate’s pleasure, while The Hilton’s AAA Four Diamond award-winning culinary experts will once again provide a first-class selection of hors d’oeuvres, antipasto, pasta, cheese, and breads. Also, there will be an assortment of specialty food vendors sampling their products. Recently these have included: gourmet nuts, pate’s and terrines, award winning bakeries, chocolate and more.

WINE CLASSES
Two (2) wine classes will be held in an exclusive tasting area at 7:30PM and 8:30PM. The instructor will conduct a side-by-side tasting of 5 special wines, explaining grape varietal origins and providing tasting notes for each. Class cost is an additional $25 per person and advance reservations must be made online or by phone during time of ticket purchase. This is an opportunity to attend a 30-40 minute small group session during the event to expand your knowledge of wine. Class sizes are limited so be sure to RESERVE EARLY!

LIVE MUSIC
Enjoy LIVE world-class jazz throughout the fest from award-winning guitarist Matt Marshak. Matt combines his classic and fluid style with jazz, blues, rock, pop and even down-home boogie. Marshak’s seventh major album release followed 2011′s highly received Urban Folktales, which captured a sophisticated late-night vibe and boasted a No. 1 song on the 2011 indie jazz chart, “Silent Knowing.” IMarshak is popular on the tour circuit (Seabreeze, Rehoboth, Hartford Jazz, Low Country, etc.) and finding new audiences with his new, fresh music in a time when it seems the entire music industry is shrinking. Keeping his music evolving in new directions is important to the guitarist. Check out Matt’s music here.
