THE TEMPTATIONS REVIEW
Dennis Edwards was one of the original lead singers of The Temptations. He replaced David Ruffin in 1968 and was the lead singer with The Temptations through the 1990’s until a legal battle ensued and Edwards formed The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards. The Edwards fronted Temptations was the first Motown act to win a Grammy, garnering the awards for Papa was a Rolling Stone and again for Cloud 9. In 1989, Edwards was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame along with Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, and Otis Williams as part of The Temptations. In 2018, Edwards passed away two days shy of his 75th birthday. The Temptations Review featuring the Legacy of Dennis Edwards continues to tour with original members of Ruffin Kendricks Edwards and original members The Temptations Review.
